They are so much better than I am.

We say.

And we only value the things they are great at.

We don’t see our own unique strengths anymore.

I am enough.  I am plenty.

We say.

And we see the brilliance we are.

We don’t need to be like them anymore.

What do you say?

What do you see?

Make a deliberate choice.

The life you create depends on it.

    Beautifully put!

I was just telling someone that comparison is the root of discontent, how weird that we’re all on the same universal radio wave :o)

Universal wave indeed…I wrote about watching your language this week too! Do do, do do!

We are always in choice – and choosing ourselves is key. 😉

This is gorgeous. And truth. Just today, an 86-year old nun told me that most of her life she valued the strengths she does not have (comparing) instead of appreciating those she does… and that around age 80 she began to own that being herself is enough, actually much more than enough. There is definitely a universal wave here…
