So we chase the goal.

Working hard.

Relentlessly.

Giving ourselves not a moment of respite.

We need to get there.

As soon as possible.

The sooner the better.

Craving for that moment of reaching the goal.

Because that’s the moment

we’re finally gonna

feel happy.

Free. Content. Fulfilled.

Because that’s the moment

we’re finally gonna

take a moment and

take it all in.

Because that’s the moment

we’re finally gonna

live life

to the fullest.

And so we rush ourselves

now

through a life that feels

unhappy, constricted and stressful.

And so we push ourselves

now

through overloaded agendas

and overflowing to do lists.

And so we force ourselves

now

to work harder,

fighting the feeling we’ve never done enough.

And the more we rush ourselves,

the more we rush ourselves

a little bit further away

from happy, free, content and fulfilled

now.

And the more we push ourselves,

the more we push ourselves

a little bit further away

from taking a moment and taking it all in

now.

And the more we force ourselves,

the more we force ourselves

a little bit further away

from living life to the fullest

now.

But life isn’t some distant thing in the future.

Life is what happens now.

So find a way to create happy, free, content and fulfilled.

Now.

Because life isn’t some distant thing in the future.

Life is what happens now.

So take a moment and take it all in.

Now.

So that life won’t be some distant thing in the future.

But something that is happening now.

Lived to the fullest.

Right now.

Make sure the journey is as good as

what you picture the goal will be.

Because the journey is life.

Because the journey is your life.
