Looking at where you should be

is disempowering.

It’s trying to live your life from a fictitious place

while taking away your power to actually get there

by mulling over how your life should have been different

and dismissing where you actually are.

Yet where you actually are,

the here and now,

is where all change starts.

Where you actually are,

is the only place it can ever start.

So the longer you hang out in should be land,

the more you’re setting yourself up to stay there,

frustrated,

sad,

disillusioned.

Looking at where you are

is empowering.

It’s living your life from your truth,

and while it might be painful to look at where you are,

seeing the gap with where you think you should be,

it’s exactly what you need to start creating what you are longing for.

Because where you actually are,

the here and now,

is where all change starts.

Where you actually are,

is the only place it can ever start.

And the longer you hang out in the here and now,

the more you’re setting yourself up to stay there,

liberated,

resourceful,

capable.

So each time you find yourself hanging out in should be land,

invite yourself to come back

to the here and now.

Because the here and now

is where you live.

Because the here and now

is where you create your future.

Because the here and now

is where you create your life.
