We believe that we need to be perfect

to be happy.

But that’s not true.

We believe that we need to be perfect

to be loved.

But that’s not true.

We believe that we need to be perfect

to be worthy.

But that’s not true.

What if it were true that we just need

to stop fixing ourselves?

And that happy would come as a natural bonus?

What if it were true that we just need

to stop pretending to be someone we are not?

And that genuine love would come as an inevitable bonus?

What if it were true that we just need

to stop degrading who we truly are?

And that grounded self-love would come as an unavoidable bonus?

Would you be willing to explore those truths?
